Abstract

The problem faced in society is the lack of public awareness in carrying out good deeds. This study aims to analyze moral didacticism in the Islamic novel "Elegi Tawa Niyusa" by Lin Aiko. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The data obtained are in the form of words, phrases, and sentences that have moral didactic meaning. The data source in this study is the Islamic novel entitled "Elegi Tawa Niyusa" by Lin Aiko. The research instrument in this study is the researcher herself who is assisted by the guidelines for analyzing literary didacticism. Data analysis is carried out based on the theory of literary didacticism used. The results of the study show that moral didacticism refers to the teachings of good behavior, namely devotion to parents, fortitude, role models, respecting guests, giving advice, compassion, and responsibility in the Islamic novel "ETN" by Lin Aiko. The literary didacticism found in the Islamic novel "ETN" by Lin Aiko is very relevant to be used as a source of literacy in improving morals in the nation's generation.
